Who We Are
Salt Church is committed to cultivating a community where people encounter the Living God, embody the life of Jesus, and produce a harvest that pleases Him.
Mission & Vision
We exist to pursue God’s presence and build His kingdom.
We’re cultivating a community where people encounter the living God, embody the life of Jesus, and produce a harvest pleasing to Him.
Values
Host His Presence
The Lord will always be the guest of honor. Nothing surpasses this priority.
Stay Humble and Let God Elevate
We don’t seek our own elevation or recognition. We seek God’s glory and let him take care of the rest.
Expect the Supernatural
We seek to foster an environment where the Holy Spirit is active in power. Because Jesus is living and active we expect to see him move supernaturally on a regular basis.
Reach the One
God’s heart is for the broken, hurting, and far from Him, and we want our hearts to reflect that. Our mission is to find the lost, overlooked, and vulnerable and welcome them into God’s family. God’s Kingdom is bigger than Salt Church, and we commit ourselves to its expansion, even at a cost. As we seek first His Kingdom and righteousness, we trust Him to provide all the rest.
Bring Our Best
We don’t always control our resources, but we always control our effort. We recognize that our effort is a part of our living sacrifices to God and work accordingly to bring our best—even in small details.
Honor Well
In a culture that knows nothing of honor, we want to be known as a church that shows honor well, both to God and to people.
Be Unreasonably Generous
We will build our church on unreasonable giving. We will never bow our knee to the limitations money tries to put on generosity or the instructions given to us by God. Jesus died for people, not money, and the Lord of the harvest can multiply resources effortlessly.
Why Salt?
We’re called Salt Church because in the Bible, salt is a symbol of God’s faithful promise [covenant] — that He Himself is our portion. In a world chasing more, we believe what we need most is not more stuff… but more of Him.
19c [This] is a permanent covenant of salt before the Lord for you as well as your offspring.”
20 The Lord told Aaron, “You will not have an inheritance in their land. There will be no portion among them for you, because I am your portion and your inheritance among the Israelites.
Numbers 18:19-20
Purity
At the center of the covenant is Christ. The cross reminds us that our relationship with God is rooted in holiness, made possible by His perfect, purifying sacrifice.
Preservation
The four walls represent how God surrounds and sustains us. His covenant doesn’t fade or fail—it preserves us through every season and stands the test of time.
Preciousness
The full diamond reflects the weight and beauty of God’s promise. Like a gem, the covenant is rare, costly, and deeply treasured by both God and His people.
